The materials align with the Vision, Mission, and Core Values of Church Women United and are anchored in scriptures of the Holy Bible. Rev. Lillie Holman has lived and traveled in various parts of the United States and Europe. She has served in ministry for the past 20 years and is an ordained minister. Rev. Holman is presently a member of the ministerial staff at Integrity Christian Fellowship in Riverdale, Utah.

However due to her relocation to Severn, MD, she currently attends First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Upper Marlboro, MD. She is a graduate of Hampton Roads Business College (Hampton, VA), and has completed university courses in the areas of business administration and management. She has completed various Christian Education Leadership School (CLS) and National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. Congress courses including CLS Dean certification.

Welcome to the Church Women United Spiritual Formation Resources.

Rev. Holman has designed and facilitated numerous women’s ministry retreats, worship seminars and conferences. She served as the Women’s Mission Ministry President in her church for six years. She served four years as President of the Intermountain General Baptist Convention, Inc. (IGBC) Women’s Auxiliary (Utah/Idaho/Wyoming) within the National Baptist Convention, USA Women’s Auxiliary, and five years as the IGBC Women’s Auxiliary’s Finance Secretary.

Rev. Holman served for 13 years as a local city Planning Commissioner and Historical Landmarks Commissioner prior to relocating to Maryland. She is also a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP).

Rev. Holman has been an active member of Church Women United, Inc. for 18 years where she served as a unit officer and CWU Utah State President. She is a recipient of the CWU Human Rights Award. Rev. Holman served as a writer on the CWU National Celebrations Committee for four years. She currently serves as the National CWU Spiritual Formation Director where she oversees the development, planning, coordination, and evaluation of Spiritual Formation for this national cross-cultural, ecumenical movement, including but limited to communication, training, coaching, mentoring and overall support of Church Women United, Inc.

Rev. Holman enjoys reading, gospel music and movies, but she states her “passion” is studying and teaching the Word of God. She declares all of God’s Word is precious, however, her “anchor scripture” which has and continues to sustain and strengthen her is Romans 8:28.
